I used to work in a bank and when I first joined Ascension Partners, I wasn’t sure if my service-oriented nature would be suitable for the job. However, I soon realised that being a Financial Consultant (FC) was more about service than sales and have committed myself to this career ever since.

Being a FC allowed me to better understand my clients and their sharing provided me with new perspectives in many aspects of life. Many of my client relationships evolved from mere strangers to being close friends – I even became a bridesmaid in one of my client’s wedding! I hold these amazing relationships close to heart and truly cherish each and every one of them.

I enjoy sports and have weekly badminton sessions with my clients (who became my close friends, and vice versa). Having a healthy working and social relationship with my clients is heart-warming and I am immensely grateful have the best of both worlds in this career.
